The Mayor's Art Council (MAC) was created in 2003 by the City of Gillette, Wyoming. The mission of the Council is "to create a more visually pleasing environment and expand the opportunities for residents and visitors to experience quality works of art in public places."

The Council consists of volunteers in our community who advises the City Council on ways to accomplish their mission. The committee oversees the Avenues of Art program, the Annual Christmas Pin Design Contest, the Children's Memorial Walkway program and provides opportunities for local artists to submit 2-dimensional artwork to be permanently displayed at City Hall. Visit our About Us page for more information about our members and committee meetings.
